A Dreamer, One Could Say...
I close my eyes. At first, I see nothing but darkness. Then, in a burst of brilliance, my vision restores and I am in someplace new and untouched. As far as the eye can see there is vast water, completely smooth and sound. I tentatively rest my foot upon the slick surface ever so gently, afraid that even the slightest amount of pressure could break the enticing trance of the water's calmness. Once I know its safe, I cautiously inch across towards the only other being in existence: The Magnolia.
When I approach the massive, flowered tree, I immediately start the climb towards the heavens, anxious to find whatever lay beyond its branches. Soon, the branches turn into bushes and leaves. Untangling myself from their grasp, I trip when my feet suddenly touch pavement and I find my path blocked by a crowd of people. I make my way warily along the sea of flesh, eager as to what had caught so many attentions. Bursting through the throng, I find myself stumbling onto a small, raised stage, reac
